PLEASE NOTE THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED AND THE WINNER HAS BEEN CONTACTED.
As we enter the final weeks before Gladfest, we’re delighted to announce a very special competition in association with Theatr Clwyd, whose new, all-female production of Lord of the Flies, opens in September.
On a remote island, a new society is being created. A group of evacuated school children have crash landed. There are no adults to tell them what to do. They’ve ripped up the rule book and are starting all over again. But it’s not long before their utopia descends into a nightmarish hell…
On Friday, 7th September at Gladstone’s Library, director Emma Jordan and some of the production’s actors will give an exclusive preview reading as part of Gladfest.
The play opens at Theatr Clwyd on Thursday, 20th September and runs until Saturday, 13th October.
To WIN a fantastic Lord of the Flies bundle including a pair of tickets to the Gladfest rehearsed reading as well as a pair of tickets to the production at Theatr Clwyd (two of the best seats, value up to £60, for any performance, subject to availability), all you need to do is answer the following question:
Where is Lord of the Flies set?
- On a desert island
- In outer space
- In an Amazonian rainforest
To be in with a chance of winning, simply email your answer along with your name and contact telephone number to [email protected]. Please include ‘Lord of the Flies Competition’ as the subject of your email.
The competition closes at 11.59pm on Sunday, 2nd September and the winner will be contacted thereafter.
Good luck!
