On 6th July 2015, we welcomed members of the Gladstone family, Trustees, Friends and guests through our doors and into the Theology Room for our Annual Gladstone Lecture.
Chaired by journalist, broadcaster and Chair of the Heritage Alliance, Loyd Grossman, the lecture took the form of a panel discussion and was divided into three separate topic areas.
Under deliberation was the question of whether the Library currently demonstrates the same enthusiasm for spirituality, literary culture and political discourse as the Grand Old Man himself. The panellists aimed to answer the question 'Does the Library remain truly 'Gladstonian' today?'
Below is the full video of the event.
