Understanding Power – Masterclass with Gerald Levy

4 October @ 10:30 am - 4:30 pm

£70.00 – £90.00
Glynne Room

What do we understand by the terms Power or Influence or maybe Persuasion? Where do the ideas of “Ethics” or “Morality” fit in to these concepts (if at all?).  How does power affect our understanding of “the truth” or indeed an “alternative truth”?  How do we make sense of the exercise of overt, let alone, covert power?

In this one-day interactive event, we will try to gain some understanding of these constructs that can, and do, dictate and manipulate us and the world we live in.

It is likely the day will raise at least as many questions as answers, and participants will be invited to add to the groups collective  understanding  from their own life experiences. Perhaps,  together, we might even gain a little wisdom?

Please do not expect detailed lectures or extensive Power Points (well, maybe a few slides)!
